In a related development, Rabiu Kwankwaso has stated that it is wrong for people to view a scenario where his friend, Mr Peter Obi accepts vice presidential candidate as unstrategic but instead should consider it the strategic thing to do.
Giving an example, he said that Bola Tinubu was strategic to have supported the APC in 2015 and today he is the presidential candidate of the APC.
Mr Kwankwaso said the best option for the South East was for the zone to partner with NNPP, which is a golden opportunity and it would be a disaster if they lose it.
On the choice of his running mate, Mr Kwankwaso said they have options in the NNPP in the South to pick a good vice president and one of them is Mr.Peter Obi.
Mr Kwankwaso also said his party had the structure, organisation and population across the country to contest and win elections and is hopeful of winning the elections in 2023.
He said if elected president in 2023, his vision would be to create opportunities for the youths of Nigeria to get employed, achieve their dreams and be empowered educationally and economically.
