“Recognition of daughters and sons of light”: Holy Innocents day Holds at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Nibo

The event , “Recognition of daughters and sons of light”, which took place on Tuesday, 28th December, 2021 and also marked as Holy Innocents’ day at Holy Trinity (Anglican) Church, NIBO was a huge success.

During his sermon, Rev. Canon Ndubuisi Ahanonu, who came as a guest preacher advised the beneficiaries not to be contented with earthly honours but rather strive to be honored in heaven.

He admonished all Christians to avail themselves to God as a means of honoring God.

Esther Ogechukwu Okafor; one of the beneficiaries of daughters of light, who is also a younger sister to Deacon Benjamin.E. Okafor ( CEO Sunshine bread and Zaram farms) from Ifite, Nibo was honored. Esther who is based in United States Of America was absent but was represented by Deaconess Ozioma Okafor, wife of CEO of Sunshine bread and Zaram farms.

Deaconess Ozioma described her sister in law as a lover of God and peace loving person worthy to be honored.

She mentally thanked all those that graced the occasion and prayed for more of God’s blessings.

Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Ajakor, Vicar Holy Trinity Church, Nibo prayed for all the beneficiaries and advised them to keep the light shining.

Highlights of the occasion included supporting of the women’s ministry, songs of praises; while guests was served sumptuous foods and drinks at the residence of Deacon Benjamin. E. Okafor (CEO Sunshine bread and Zaram farms).
