Rev Dr Daniel Emeka Oraekie, gets chieftancy title; named “Ozo Odenjinji 1 of Mgbakwu Abogu”

Rev Dr Daniel Emeka Oraekie was on Thursday, the 15th of October, 2020 conferred with the chieftancy title; “Ozo Odenjinji 1 of Mgbakwu Abogu”.

The ceremony, which held at his compound at Mgbakwu Abogu started with an opening prayed led by Nkwute Ogbuanyi; an elder and the head of Ndi Ozo Mgbakwu Abogu, who prayed to Chukwu Okike Abiama for the grace of life, asking for His blessings upon the celebrant.
He prayed for the coronation to be a blessing upon him and his family.

According to Rev. Daniel, his aim of taking the Ozo title was to be associated with and recognized as one of the Ndi Ozo Mgbakwu Abogu, haven completed the coronation procedures; Iyijioku, iyiawudu, omugheanya chi;
which led him to be conferred; Ozo Odenjinji, Ozo Akujasiha
He stated that his title; Ozo Odenjinji, originated from the Igbo culture and tradition, and true to that he had met all necessary requirements as custom and tradition demanded.

Speaking to Kpakpando media crew, present at the event,
He expressed his gratitude to Almighty God who made all things possible, thanking Him for His continuous blessing and grace upon he and his family.
He went further to appreciate Ozo Mgbakwu Abogu who honoured the event.

Chief K. O Nwoye, Ozo Anyanwu (Mgbakwu Abogu) – jioffor Mgbakwu Abogu, while blessing the kola nut prayed for long life, prosperity, good health and more wealth to the youths of Mgbakwu
He also prayed for the celebrant Ozo Odenjinji; asking for God’s favour, good health and protection upon him and his family and prosperity in all spheres of his life
He urged him to continue to do good for his people.

Ndi Nzena Ozo of Mgbakwu Abogu were all present to grace the event.

Rev Daniel showed his gratitude to God Almighty who made the event possible, saying it had not been easy but with God by his side all things possible.
