Senator Ireti Kingibe, representing FCT in the National Assembly, denied sponsoring the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests in Abuja.

A viral video alleged her involvement, which she condemned as “misinformation.”

Kingibe clarified that the video, taken over six weeks ago during a Labour Party meeting with the NLC protesting outside, is being misrepresented.

She emphasized that neither she nor Mr. Peter Obi were leading recent protests, as claimed.

Kingibe stated she has been at home due to illness since Wednesday.

She condemned the false claims and affirmed that she did not distribute food and water at the protest grounds, although she praised those who did.

She decried the attempt to discredit her and vowed not to tolerate such irresponsible actions.
