The Young Progressives Party (YPP) Governorship Candidate, Sir Paul Chukwuma, has extolled Former Political Appointees (Class of 2014–2022), for their commitment to the growth of and transformation of Anambra State.
Sir Paul, speaking during an interactive session with the group, emphasized that their wealth of experience would be a vital asset to his administration, having thoughtfully recognised their value and chosen one among them as his running mate.
In what appeared to be a heartfelt gesture of empathy and acknowledgment of their sacrifices, Sir Paul expressed deep understanding of the circumstances under which they were disengaged from service and assured them that, upon assumption of office on March 17, 2026, his administration would process and release their long-overdue severance packages within three months.
Paul Chukwuma, who emphasized that governance must reflect justice and compassion, reaffirmed his conviction that “a labourer is worthy his reward” (1 Timothy 5:18).
“Indeed, as Scripture declares, ‘When the righteous is in authority, the people rejoice’ (Proverbs 29:2).
