The Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the November sixth governorship election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has assured that he will continue Governor Obiano’s legacy as most worker – friendly governor if elected into office.
Speaking on the occasion of 2021 Anambra Public Service Day Celebration with his running mate Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Professor Soludo gave the workers assurance not to owe nor delay payment of workers salary as well that of pensioners.
He promised to review the terms and conditions for service especially that of Anambra Teachers with the aim of improving the standard of living of civil servants, have a better working conditions and for improved productivity.
He maintained that quality of teachers and teaching goes a long way to define the future of any state.
Professor Soludo reminded the gathering that Saturday’s election is very decisive in the interest of Anambra workers and for Anambra to continue growing in a geometric progression manner.
Present at the event held at the Jerome Udorji state secretariat Awka, were Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, MD/CEOs of Different Agencies Sandy Parasternal, teachers and thousands of workers from different ministries, departments and agencies.
