Stakeholders meet to Solicit peace between two neighbouring communities in Anambra and Kogi State

Stakeholders and community leaders in Innoma Community in Anambra West local government and Ika Community in Ibaji local government area of Kogi state have met to solicit for peace in the warring communities.

According to report made available to Newsmen, the Igwe of Owelle Igwe Anthony Onyekwere, President General of Nzam, Honorable Fidelis Nnazo and President General of Owelle, Hon Ibechi Samuel , amongst several others on Sunday, 24th January, met at Innoma and Ika communities where they engaged the warring towns in a peace and conflict resolution process.

The report stated that the meeting was very fruitful after several hours as the two warring communities agreed to lay down their guns and agreed to meet again in a bid to completely resolve the crisis.

Hon Fidelis Nnazo called on the Anambra State Government to expedite action in bringing Permanent peace between the two neighbouring communities in Anambra and Kogi state.
