A release signed by the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr Chioma Ezenyimulu, said the Sub-National Immunization plus Days which started yesterday, will end on Tuesday, first December, 2020.

According to the release, the immunization exercise will hold at Public Health facilities and other designated points, Houses, Churches, Mosques, Markets, Schools, Motor Parks, Village Squares and wherever children are found.

It explained that the exercise follows the recent certification of Nigeria as Polio free by the World Health organization, adding that the country will continue to administer oral polio vaccine to eligible children in order to maintain the certification, contribute to total global eradication of polio and interrupt any re-circulation of wild polio in the country.

It assures that Anambra State will always join in the efforts to achieve the desired goals.

The release urges parents and guardians to support the exercise and mobilize their children and wards for vaccination at the nearest health facility and designated points.
