Sustaining Safety In Anambra: Joint Security Forces Recover More Unexploded improvised Explosives, Vehicles, Dangerous Items, Other Incriminating Items In Criminal Camp At Ihiala
The Joint Security Forces in a planned and coordinated operation busted a criminal camp
in Lilu, Mbosi and Isseke in Ihaila Council Area.
A release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, and made available to the Press on Saturday, 21st September, 2024, said this followed security intelligence gathered over time.
He disclosed that items recovered during the Operation include three unexploded improvised explosives, two abandoned vehicles, some explosives materials like copper wires, fuel and other dangerous materials.
Ikenga further intimated that the Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, while charging the Operatives to sustain the tempo of the operations, assured people of the state, the commitment of the Police and other Security agencies to continue to dominate and deny the criminal elements the space they enjoy to commit havoc in the State.
The PPRO added that the Joint Operations is still ongoing, while further development would be communicated.
