The President-General, Akpo Development Association Chief Henry Dim has enjoined teachers to be strict and courageous in enforcing COVID-19 protocols in their schools. He said this while interacting with newsmen shortly after inspecting some of the schools that had resumed classes at Akpo, Aguata Local Government Area.
Recall that schools accross the state officially opened on Jan. 18, classes seriously took off on Feb. 1.

According to the PG, the pandemic has been killing our brothers and sisters here and there and yet we do not need to be afraid but to observe all protocols as we are told to do as governments at all levels are fighting this pandemic with vigour.

Mr. Dim then expressed satisfaction at the state of things at various schools visited but called for improvements, especially in the area of provision of infrared thermometers.
