The Anglican Diocese holds her 8TH Investiture into the Orders of Knighthood of St. Paul, St. Christopher & Ladies of Bethany.

The Anglican Diocese of Awka on the 3rd of April, 2021 held her 8TH Investiture into the Orders of Knighthood of St. Paul, St. Christopher & Ladies of Bethany.

The Induction Service which was held at the Cathedral Church of St Faith Awka by His Grace, The Most Revd Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim PhD (Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese saw the induction of Thirty church faithful into The Knighthood. While Eighteen new members were inducted into The Order of The Knighthood of St. Paul, Nine new members were inducted into The Order of The Knighthood of St. Christopher and Three ladies also inducted into The Order of Ladies of Bethany.

Among the inducted faithful was Hon. Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor and his wife Lady princess Stella Pat Orjiakor who just recently, was appointed by The Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese and Archbishop Province of the Niger His Grace The Most Rev Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim, as the Chairman Diocesan Think-tank Committee, as well the Special Assistant on Political to the Bishop and also the Social Orientation and Mobilization officer to the Diocese, and above all, an Automatic Diocesan Board Member.

Hon.Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor (Onwa Chukwugozili na Nibo, a known philanthropist who has overtime contributed immensely to the Diocese through cash donations for various projects carried out by the church, charity outreaches for the less privileged members of his parish and community Nibo as well as house projects for the poor and widows

During his sermon, Archbishop Ibezim congratulated the inductees and admonished them to use their new position in the church to ensure a better society and overall prosperity of the body of Christ.

The highlight of the event was the new members of the Knighthood unanimously pledging to be the defenders of Truth and Justice, as well as promoters of peace and harmony within and outside the church.

Dignitaries at the event were Sen. Mrs Uche Ekwunife (Senator Representing Anambra Central at the Red Chamber), some government functionaries, Chief Dr Sir Ughamadu Kanayo, Chief Innocent Ngenegbo Chukwugbo, Chief Chukwuemeka Martin Okeke, Ichie Dominic Enemuo, Chief Sir Kene Nweke, Chief Sir Ken Nwogbo, Chief Ifeanyi Onuorah amongst others
