The executive governor of Anambra state, Prof Charles Soludo has taken his ‘No more Agbero’ stance to the streets of Onitsha Main Market.
Trailing his movement around the market were voices of traders and artisans shouting, ‘No more Agbero’ after the Governor announced to the visibly excited marketers that touts commonly known as Agberos will no longer harass them nor customers all in the name of illegal taxation.
The marketers thanked the Governor for coming to their aid and wished him success in his administration.
The Governor, Prof Charles Soludo was accompanied by his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim.
