
The federal government is making plans to give another round of palliatives to Nigerians.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo made this known in a medial parley with journalists on Sunday in Abuja.
Speaking through his Spokesman Laolu Akande , he said that the government understands the plight of the people as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, which is why government is considering palliatives that can bring relief to the people.
Osinbajo also said that to reduce the cost of petrol and gas , the government is committed to converting to Compressed Natural Gas. He said that this is already undergoing a test run in Edo state.
He reiterated that it’s the government uttermost desire to find creative ways to lessen the burden of the Covid-19 pandemic on Nigerians so the citizens will not suffer needlessly
