The Mother’s Union of the Anglican Community celebrates mothers as Mrs Obiano urges mothers to share and rekindle love in their families

Every fourth Sunday in Lent, The Mother’s Union of the Anglican Community celebrates mothers. It has also been noted that observing Mother’s day by the Anglican Communion provides an opportunity for healthy communication and bonding in families , more so at this period of coronavirus pandemic which had stretched both individuals and family to elastic limit.

The observation was made by the wife of Anambra state governor, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano in a message she released in commemoration of the day in honour of Mothers of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion .

In the statement which was signed by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Mr Emeka Ozumba, Mrs Obiano urged Anglican Mothers to use the event to as a family, rekindle and share love that is necessary fkr strengthening the bonds of unity.

She also urged mothers to advise their children to remain committed to the precautionary measures and to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 requirements until health professionals advise otherwise.
