The remains of Madam Celina Nkechi Mbachi (Nee Okoye), was on Friday, 16th September; 2022 committed to mother earth at her compound in Ovollo village, Mbaukwu, Awka South, Anambra State.
Delivering the sermon during the burial; the Archdeacon in charge of St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Mbaukwu, Venerable D.C Ezeobi commended the family of the late Matriarch especially her son, the Apostle and founder of Kingdom Ways for commitment in expanding God’s kingdom. He commended the family of Mbachi for making God their chief cornerstone.
Ven. Ezeobi spoke on the theme “That i may know Him”cited Philipians 3 verse 10 urging christians to always live to please God and be prepared for death because, it is a debt everyone must pay and no one knows when it will come.
He described the deceased as a devoted Anglican mother and an epitome of love and encouragement to everyone around her, citing so many testimonies. while expressing his condolences to Mama’s family, Ven. Ezeobi urged them to follow the good steps their departed mother left behind.
In a tribute, Mama’s first son, Kenechukwu Mbachi thanked God for the life of his mother and for the success of the burial. He described his mother as a great woman of valour, also thanked all that contributed to the success of the burial.
In their separate interviews, lady Ogoo Mbachi, Sir. Christian Mbachi, Evangelist Julius Jarikre, Favour Mbachi and others described mama as a virtuous woman who was always peaceful and patient and prayed God to grant her her soul eternal repose.
The event was graced by some dignitaries from far and near, friends, relatives and as well as well wishers .
