Tinubu swears in 8 new Perm Secs, presides over FEC

President Bola Tinubu today, swore in eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries, filling existing and impending vacancies.

The ceremony took place before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The swearing-in, conducted in two batches, featured the recitation of the new appointees’ citations.

The cabinet members congratulated President Tinubu on his re-election as the Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, highlighted the regional leaders’ recognition of President Tinubu’s commitment to the growth and development of Nigeria and Africa.
