Today is Easter Sunday. It is also called Pascha or Resurrection Sunday.
It is celebrated in the Christendom to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after being crucified on Good Friday.
Church Services are being held in Churches to mark the day.
Government and Church Leaders also use the occasion to send goodwill messages to the people.
Federal Government had earlier declared last Friday and tomorrow, Monday, public holidays to commemorate the Easter Celebration.
