Traditional ruler of Amanuke in Awka North, Anambra State, Igwe Ezebuilo, draws government attention to lack of basic amenities in the town

The traditional ruler of Amanuke in Awka North Council Area of Anambra State, Igwe Dennis Ezebuilo, has made a passionate appeal to the State Government to extend its good offices in providing some basic amenities to the community to alleviate the sufferings of the people.

Igwe Ezebuilo made the appeal when he featured in Kpakpando 101.9 FM Participatory Programme, Star Digest.

He lamented lack of basic infrastructure in the town such as good roads, hospital among others.

The traditional ruler who lamented that lack of hospital has led to many avoidable deaths, gave instances where pregnant women, accident victims and sick people died on the way to hospitals in nearby towns.

He called on government to upgrade the Amanuke General Hospital as well as provide equipment, drugs and medical personnel to the hospital for better health care services.

He further Explained that he embarked on building A model Police Station in the community to boost the security of lives and properties of people if Amanuke Eri Kingdom.

The Royal father also called on State Government to build access road to connect Amanuke with other neighbouring Towns pointing out that the importance of good roads to the socio-economic development of any area can never be over-emphasised.

Igwe Ezebuilo pledged the support of his community to the State Government, urged the people to continue to live in peace and be law abiding, assuring that their interest would always be protected.
