In view of the security challenges and uncertainties in the country, the traditional ruler of Ifite Ogwari Igwe Alphonsus Ofuebe, has called on Ndigbo to unite in love and understanding and take their destinies in their hands.
Igwe Ofuebe in a press statement, advocated a think home philosophy forum where they can speak with one voice to fight a common cause.
According to him, Ndigbo should sink their political differences and collapse their actions and aspirations under one political party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, just like some other tribes. and the rest of the country with the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
He further spoke on the recent disbandment of the infamous SARS Police formation and its replacement with SWAT, and decried the incessant killings of innocent Nigerians by the defunct SARS
Igwe Ofuebe demanded an end to police brutality in the Country, urging the federal government to do the needful by curbing the excesses of the Nigerian Police.
He used the forum to commend Governor Willie Obiano for his recent vehicle gifts to traditional rulers in the state and urged him to do more for the royal fathers by enhancing their domestic welfare.
