In Borno State, troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised 10 Boko Haram terrorists in a fierce clearance operation near the Nigeria-Cameroon border.
The offensive took place in Manawaji, a border community between Rann and Gamboru Ngala.
Theatre Commander Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar confirmed that anti-aircraft and ordinance weapons—suspected to have been stolen from Cameroonian forces—were recovered.
He added that the troops remain determined to flush out insurgents from the Lake Chad region, as newly deployed combat equipment boosts morale.
Troops say the operation underscores their commitment to restoring lasting peace to the North-East.
