Troops Raid Plateau Kidnapper’s Den, Rescue Seven

Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN have rescued seven kidnapped victims in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. Military spokesman Major Samson Zhakom confirmed the operation, which was based on intelligence reports.

The victims, abducted on March 7 along the Jos-Ganawuri road, were found in a hideout in Ganawuri district. The kidnappers fled under military fire, leaving behind belongings. The rescued individuals, all from Bauchi State, have been reunited with their families.

The military vows to continue the manhunt for criminal elements in the region.
