A Lagos State High Court has ordered controversial social media critic Martin Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, to pay N500 million in damages to lawyer Femi Falana and his son, Folarin, also known as Falz.
The court ruled that Otse must delete defamatory posts linking them to false claims made by cross-dresser Bobrisky.
Justice M.O. Dawodu stated that the statements were knowingly false and harmful to their reputations. The ruling follows a social media post from September 24, which alleged improper dealings involving Falana and his son. The court’s order is effective for 21 days as the legal proceedings continue.
