The Police Service Commission, PSC, has removed Mrs Betty Enekpen Isokpan Otimenyin as the Commissioner of Police in charge of Edo State Command.
Kpakpando gathered that she was removed as Commissioner of Police in the state due to the killing of 16 Hausa-Fulani travelers in Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State on March 27, 2025.
The PSC appointed Monday Agbonika as her replacement.
Betty Otimenyin was appointed as the 49th CP of the State on January 16, 2025.
She took over from CP Peter Umoru Ozigi at his retirement on January 25, 2025.
