Wigwe University, set to open in September 2024, is launching 100 scholarships for outstanding students. These scholarships, honoring the vision of the late Dr. Herbert Wigwe, aim to support students with exceptional academic achievements and leadership skills.
Professor Marwan AI-Akaidi, the Acting Vice Chancellor, emphasized that this initiative shows the university’s commitment to providing quality education to all, regardless of financial background.
He said that to qualify, applicants must choose Wigwe University as their first choice in the UTME and meet specific academic criteria. Interested students should apply through the Wigwe University portal by August 26, 2024 while Successful candidates will be notified in September.
