The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has revoked the land title of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national secretariat in Abuja. This follows allegations that the party has not paid the required ground rent for the past 19 years.

In a letter dated March 13, 2025, Wike’s office cited the PDP’s failure to pay the annual fee from 2006 to 2025, despite multiple notifications.

The FCTA says the property, located in Abuja’s Central Area, has now reverted to the Federal Capital Territory Administration, which will take immediate possession.

The PDP has not yet commented on this development.
