
In a determined effort to promote good health, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of the Anambra governor, is leading a healthy living crusade aimed at raising awareness starting from homes and schools.
During a visit to Stella Maris College in Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area, Mrs. Soludo emphasized the importance of adopting simple health habits, hygiene practices, and overall cleanliness among students. She highlighted the significance of hand-washing, regular tooth brushing, menstrual hygiene, proper nutrition, and physical fitness.
Mrs. Soludo encouraged students to take the lessons seriously and implement them in their daily lives, while also sharing the knowledge with their families and peers. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of utilizing the pad banks set up in the school for menstrual emergencies.
The school’s principal, Mrs. Anastasia Ifem, praised Mrs. Soludo’s initiative in promoting a healthy lifestyle and pledged continued support for the healthy living club at the school. She emphasized Mrs. Soludo’s commitment to humanity through her efforts to instill the importance of good health in schools and households.
