One male adult was injured in a serious Road Traffic Crash which occurred at about 4pm on Friday 24 July, 2020 near Nteje Slaughter, along Nteje-Onitsha expressway.
A total of Five male adults, one Toyota Hilux with enlistment number AAH589RC and a Kymstone Motorcycle with registration number MGO312QM, were involved in the crash.
The crash was reportedly caused by Wrongful Overtaking. FRSC operatives from Nteje Unit Command rushed the injured victim to Chirah Hospital Awkuzu and ensured that the obstructions caused were cleared.
The crashed vehicles were taken to the FRSC base.
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra State, CC Andrew Kumapayi, admonished drivers to always drive defensively and overtake other vehicles only when it is safe to do so.
He stressed that Road traffic crashes are avoidable.
