A frontline aspirant under the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines, Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, has called on his party’s leadership to adopt him as the consensus candidate for the upcoming Anambra governorship election in November.
Speaking at the APC State Secretariat in Awka on Sunday, Okonkwo assured party stakeholders that he is the best candidate to unseat Governor Chukwuma Soludo of APGA. He pledged to bring unprecedented growth, peace, and development to Anambra if elected.
APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje recently emphasized the party’s preference for a consensus candidate to ensure unity and avoid a costly primary election. Okonkwo also expressed his commitment to supporting President Tinubu’s development agenda for the state
