The member representing Orumba North and South in the House of Representatives, Hon. Chinwe Clara Nnabuife, has left the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and rejoined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State.
Hon. Nnabuife, who won her federal seat under YPP, announced her defection on Sunday at a ceremony in Awka. Addressing her supporters, the lawmaker whose political journey started under APGA, described her return as “expected” and vowed to strengthen APGA’s influence in the upcoming elections.
Welcoming her, APGA State Chairman, Chief Ifeatu Obiokoye, presented her with a temporary membership card and warned against anti-party activities.
APGA leaders in Orumba North and South hailed her return as a significant boost for the party, urging others to follow suit ahead of the November 8 governorship election.
