Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has begun extensive tour of Police formations across Anambra State aimed at strengthening community policing and enhance security measures in the state.
The tour will assist the Command to assess the operational effectiveness of the units, identify challenges, and implement effective solutions.
During the visit, the CP emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism, especially with regards to adhering to the Police Operational Protocol in their line of duty.
To further promote the culture of accountability and service excellence, the CP admonished the officers to shun corruption, extortion, indiscipline and neglect of family care which can impact negatively on their performance and overall job satisfaction.
Those who accompanied CP include the Assistant Commissioners of Police in charge of Administration and Criminal Investigations respectively and other senior officers.
