The Enugu State Boundary Committee has successfully resolved a long-running land dispute between Isienu-Amagunze in Nkanu East and Ndiuno Akpugo in Nkanu West.

The disagreement, which nearly turned violent in December 2024, stemmed from claims that Minister Uche Nnaji encroached on farmlands in Isienu-Amagunze.

Following a detailed investigation, the committee affirmed the boundary as the IYI-EZI seasonal stream separating the two communities.

Lawmakers and traditional rulers, including Igwe Ikechukwu Asadu and Hon. Anthony Mbah, praised the resolution and thanked Governor Peter Mbah for his leadership.

The resolution is seen as a testament to the state government’s commitment to peace and proactive conflict resolution.
