The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction is appealing to Nigerians to join efforts in assisting people displaced by conflict and natural disasters.
Deputy Director of Emergency Services, Dr. Fatima Lemu, said caring for displaced persons is a collective responsibility that goes beyond government to communities and citizens.
She made the call during an event honoring Endam Home of Hope for its work in shelter, empowerment, and community support for internally displaced persons.
The organization also unveiled its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, which CEO Dr. Yvone Ndaga Endam described as a roadmap for change aimed at building resilient communities and ensuring sustainable support for vulnerable populations.
