A Legacy Reborn in Obunagu!

History has been made in Obunagu Village, Awka! Mr. and Mrs. Nkwoede from Ebonyi State, who reside in Obunagu, has welcomed the very first baby born in the Obunagu Hospital—a project built by the great philanthropist and humanitarian, Mr. Onuorah Osonwa (Akudo) in loving memory of his mother, Mrs. Esther Manari Osonwa.

In honour of the woman whose kindness and legacy inspired this hospital, the newborn has been named “Nwanyi Manari”—a name that carries deep meaning and reflects a life of love, impact, and service.

This is not just a birth; it is a symbol of hope, a continuation of a great legacy, and a promise of better healthcare for generations to come.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Nkwoede! And a heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Onuorah Osonwa (Akudo) for his generosity and commitment to humanity.

The spirit of Mrs. Esther Manari Osonwa lives on!
