Anambra FRSC Sector Commander Irelewuyi Visits Anambra Speaker.
Sector Commander, Anambra State Command, Federal Roads Safety Corps, FRSC, Corps Commander Adeoye Irelewuyi, has stressed the importance of registration of Anambra State shuttle buses, trycycles and motorcycles on FRSC centralized data base to reduce incident of theft, and also aid easy trace when stolen.
Corps Commander Irelewuyi stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Somto Nkemakonan Udeze, on Monday, 16th October, 2023.
He relayed the FRSC
statutory responsibilities to the Speaker and appealed to him to use his good offices to ensure that Anambra State is inaugurated into State Advisory Committee on Road Safety.
The Sector Commander who was received by the Speaker, in company of the member representing Ihialla 1 constituency, Hon. Jude Ngobili, the Chief Whip of the house, and member representing Onitsha North 11 constituency, Hon. Pat Okafor, congratulated the Speaker on his election to the office.
Responding, the Speaker appreciated the Sector Commander for the visit, and acknowledged the fact that Road Safety is the business of everyone that uses the road to ensure safety on the road.
Speaker Udeze promised to make consultations on issues discussed for necessary actions, while pledging his support for FRSC Anambra State Command.
On the visit with the Sector Commander were the DCC Operations – DCC Okora A Awassam, CRC TSO (Transport Standardization Officer) – CRC UK Udeh, RC Ag. SPEO – RC Margaret B Onabe, and the Command’s Liaison officer – RC C Uchendu.
Highlight of the visit was presentation of Plague to the Hon. Speaker, by the Sector Commander.
