Police Operatives in Anambra have arrested two suspects in connection to a robbery operation on Saturday.
The arrest was made following a distress call at 8:32am on 31st October that suspected robbers with dangerous weapons were operating at Abagana end of Nimo junction in Njikoka local government area.
In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer , SP Haruna Mohammed, police operatives in conjunction with local vigilante groups from Umudunu village rushed to the scene and arrested two suspects.
Haruna stated that the suspects are Ocha Chinonso,23 year old male of Mgbuke Village, Umunnachi and Chidubem Emmanuel , 22 year male of Umusiome.
According to the statment, exhibits recovered in their possessions include two pump action gun, one short double barell gun, three cartridges and one keke tricycle.
He also said that the case is under investigation after which the suspects would be brought to book.
