Anambra Traditional Rulers Council Congratulates Commissioner Nwabunwanne As He Marks One Year In Office, Says He Is Round Peg In Round Hole

The Chairman, Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Obi Alfred Achebe, has congratulated the state Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Honourable Collins Nwabunwanne, as he clocks one year in office, describing him as the best thing that has happened to Ndi Anambra.
Obi Achebe who commended Governor Soludo for the choice of Commissioner Nwabunwanne, and expressed satisfaction with the cordial working relationship existing between the Commissioner and the Royal fathers.
The Royal father extolled the Commissioner for the feat he achieved in reconciling various warring Communities in the state and as well ensured that peace and stability returned in those communities.
Igwe Achebe assured him the total support of the traditional rulers, praying God to continue to give him the wisdom to take the traditional rulers, Staff of the ministry among others to enviable heights.
The traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam in Anambra West, Igwe George Ekwealor in his own felicitation said described the Commissioner as his worthy Son in whom he is well pleased, noting that he has transformed all the town Unions, installed Elected Presidents- General, as well as conducted Peaceful Elections that brought in Certified traditional rulers, in Igboukwu, Isu Aniocha and Umuomaku towns and wished him happy stay in Office.
In their Separate Felicitations, the traditional rulers of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, Igwe Robert Eze of Ukpo and his Okija town Counterpart, Igwe Emeka Okezie, who applauded the developmental strides of Commissioner Nwabunwanne, also remarked that the Commissioner has listening ears and Respect for the Royal Fathers.
On their part, the traditional ruler of Ifite Dunu, Igwe Emeka Ilonu and his Umueri Counterpart, Igwe Benneth Izuchukwu Emeka, congratulated him and extolled his wealth of knowledge having served in different capacities in Governor Willie Obiano Administration.
The duo appreciated the intervention of the Commissioner in their communities in installing duely elected Presidents General, and ongoing palliative works on damaged portions of roads, drainages and building Human Capacities.
Contributing, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Barrister Pauline Nwandu, expressed delight at the cordial relationship she enjoys with the Commissioner as the Boss.
She Applauded Governor Soludo for his support to Commissioner Nwabunwanne, which informed the training of all the staff of the Ministry in ICT and went further to thank the Commissioner who facilitated and Sponsored Treasurers, JAC Accountants of the Ministry in Capacity training in Lagos.
She expressed joy that the Commissioner has used his diplomatic nature to bring Igweship tussles and Town Union Crises to barest minimum .
The Permanent Secretary remarked that Governor Soludo made a right choice in appointing him as the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, praying God to bless and keep him safe to continue the good work.
