Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA), in partnership with Chukwunenye Mmuoduba (Micheal Don Investment Ltd), took the medical outreach to Oraukwu in Idemili North LGA.
The medical campaign which took place on September 3, 2026, afforded residents the opportunity to benefit from free HIV testing and other essential health services as the grassroots health outreach to the community.
The outreach provided confidential HIV counselling and testing, hepatitis screening, TB symptom checks, blood pressure checks and health education, giving residents easier access to vital preventive health services.
The exercise forms part of ANSACA’s intensified community-based HIV response aimed at promoting early testing, prevention, timely referral and linkage to care, while ensuring that HIV services reach people closer to where they live.
ANSACA encouraged Ndi Oraukwu and Ndi Anambra to take advantage of available testing opportunities, know their HIV status and make informed decisions about their health.
