In a major political shift, Chief Architect Emeka Uganaeme, a key APC figure in Nanka, has joined APGA, citing the impressive leadership of Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo. Uganaeme, living in Awka since 1999, praised Soludo for transforming Awka and lauded APGA’s governance, likening Soludo’s integrity to that of party founder Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
Uganaeme vowed to make Nanka fully APGA after the upcoming summit in August and pledged support for Soludo’s second term in 2025. His supporters turned out in large numbers to back the move.
Architect Okey Ezeobi of the Anambra State Bureau for Public Procurement commended Uganaeme’s decision, highlighting his influence and the positive impact of Governor Soludo’s initiatives, including free education and medical care. Hon Ken Okoli of ASATU Youth Wing also praised Uganaeme’s leadership.
Dignitaries at the event included Dr. Akabuike Joseph, Former Anambra State Commissioner for health and Mrs. Oluchi Okeke, Secretary APGA Nanka ward 1, emphasizing the importance of this political realignment.
