
APGA National Chairman Congratulates Nigeria’s Workers On International Labour Day

The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the organized labor union and all Nigerian workers on the occasion of International workers day.
Workers’ Day, also known as Labour Day or International Workers’ Day, is a celebration dedicated to honoring the workforce. It is a day to recognize and appreciate the contributions of workers and labor movements towards social and economic achievements. Workers’ Day is observed in many countries around the world on May 1st.
In his message, Barrister Ezeokenwa expressed appreciation for the dedication, hard work, and commitment that Nigerian workers display day in and day out. He emphasized the invaluable contributions that workers make towards the growth and development of the nation, acknowledging their pivotal role in the progress of Nigeria.
The APGA National Chairman also took the opportunity to appeal to the Federal Government to expedite the review of the national minimum wage to ensure that Nigerian workers receive a living Wage.
He called for measures to enhance the living conditions of workers, both in the public and private sectors, emphasizing the importance of fair compensation and conducive working environments for all workers.
Barrister Ezeokenwa called for continued support and empowerment of workers, ensuring fair treatment, improved working conditions, and enhanced welfare packages for all workers across the country.
The APGA National Chairman wished Nigerian workers a Happy Workers’ Day, reiterating his respect for the labor force and reaffirming APGA’s commitment to advocating the rights and well-being of Nigerian workers.
