The Association of People Living With Sickle Cell Disorder, APLSCD, is calling the attention of the general public to a medical outreach. The medical outreach will entail a general scientific scan that will help patients with sickle cell disease know the current state of their health condition.
The medical intervention which is in partnership with Dr Emedike will be offered freely to all persons living with sickle cell for better health management.
As contained in the notice by the APLSCD national Coordinator, Aisha Edwards Maduagwu, members and interested people should converge at the Sickle Cell Orphanage and Underprivileged Home Agulu at 8 am on Saturday, 21st May to join the bus that will transport them to Nnewi Teaching Hospital.
She also said that welfare packages and transport fare is guaranteed for all.
