
The Traditional Ruler of Umuawulu kingdom,Igwe Joel Egwuonwu, has conferred a Chieftaincy title, Ada Ji Ugo Umuawulu, on one of Umuawulu’s illustrious daughter Chief Tina Ujunwa Amalu Nweke, while describing her as a good woman who assists the needy and supports community development.
Igwe Egwuonwu also stated that Mrs Tina’s contributions to community education sector, youth empowerment and development deserves encouragement and commendation hence, the reason the community decided to honour her.
In the message as contained in a brief citation of Chief Mrs Tina Amalu Nweke, the Community Monarch noted that Ada ji Ugo has funded several culverts across the community, placed a total of 40 widows on monthly salary, gave scholarship up to tertiary level of 10 indigenes of the community and numerous other projects.
While conferring the title, Eze Udo Umuawulu said this honour is predicated on her meritorious service and invaluable contribution towards peace and progress of Umuawulu and prayed God to give other communities such humanitarian personalities as Tina while pointing out that such personalities are what most communities needed to move their community forward.
On his part, a former vice president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, described Chief Tina as a rare bussines tycoon with Adama beverage, who has contributed over ₦500 million to the fortune of the establishment and urged her to maintain the good works she has been doing with Adama beverages.

Atiku Abubakar, who was represented by his Son, Alhaji Shehu Atiku, also donated the sum of ₦2m to Umuawulu community to support their numerous community developments.
Responding, Chief Tina with her infectious smile said she felt rivatilized, appreciated and encouraged for the little she has done to make the society better. She promised she will always do more to steer many out of poverty.

Chief Tina, who spoke through Michelle Buchi Okoye, said plans are underway to set up branches and to establish some of her bussineses in the East. She pointed out that the aim is to fight poverty, joblessness and unemployment with job creation and philanthropism.
Reception was later held at her new edifice with Flavor, Ijelle Africa entertaining numerous guest, traditional rulers, friends and well wishers.
