
The collation officer for Orumba North local government of Anambra, Micheal Otu, has accused some of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC officials of conniving with those who he claimed interrupted the voting process and coerced him to sign the result for the area under duress, threat and coercion.
He made this known on Sunday while presenting the outcome of the election in the local government area.
He also stated that to the best of his knowledge, there was no election in the area. He accused an electoral officer, Comfort Omoregie of manipulating the process. A claim which the electoral office denied as false while claiming that he was inexperienced and uncomposed.
Subsequently, returning officer for the state, Florence Obi said that the commission will deliberate on the outcome of the election in the area.
