Coronavirus cases in Nigeria Still On the Increase As Nigeria Records New Cases

Update on COVID-19 shows that yesterday, being 18th of August, 410 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus infection were reported in Nigeria.

A release issued by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said till date, 49,895 cases have been confirmed in the country.

Of this figure, 37,051 cases have been discharged, while 981 deaths have also been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the NCDC, the 410 new cases were reported from 16 states:-

Kaduna-6
Anambra-4
Ebonyi-3
