Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has become the latest global ambassador for German multinational corporation Puma.
Puma made the announcement of Davido as their ambassador on Friday, December 17, 2021.
Puma’s General Manager Johan Kuhlo issued a statement explaining the decision of the company to make Davido a brand ambassador.
He said, they were excited to welcome Davido to the PUMA family. He also said that PUMA has had strong roots in Africa, football and beyond and signing Davido is both a clear commitment to Africa as a key market and a sign that African culture is becoming more and more relevant globally.
Excited Davido , who is expected to market the company’s Basketball and Football styles, revealed his excitement in a message on the Puma official website.
Also in a related development, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has been announced as the global ambassador of the French luxury fashion house.
The partnership between Mbappe and Dior was made known on Friday, December 17, 2021.
Mbappe took to his official Instagram account to post pictures to announce the collaboration with the Brand.
