Dangote Cement Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Emmanuel Ikazoboh as its new Chairman, following Aliko Dangote’s decision to step down.The company made the announcement in a statement signed by Group Chief Branding & Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina.Ikazoboh, an independent non-executive director, takes over as Hajiya Mariya Aliko Dangote joins the Board and Prof. Dorothy Ufot retires.Ikazoboh pledged to lead with vision, integrity, and a focus on sustainability and innovation.Dangote Cement recently reported strong financials, with revenue rising to ₦2.07 trillion and profit after tax jumping 174% to ₦520.5 billion in the first half of 2025.
