On Foreign News,

United States President, Donald Trump has once again hinted at a possible third term in office, despite the U.S. Constitution limiting presidents to two terms.

Speaking to NBC News on Sunday, Trump stated that he was not joking when asked about his previous remarks on seeking another term. He also claimed there are “methods” to achieve this goal but declined to provide details.

Trump acknowledged that changing the constitution would require significant support from Congress or U.S. states, making it a difficult process.

Political analysts say that no constitutional convention has ever been successfully called in U.S. history. The former president’s comments have sparked debate on whether he could find a legal loophole or if his remarks are simply political rhetoric.
