The Federal Government of Nigeria has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) to train Nigerian nurses on best practice guidelines. This initiative, known as the Best Practice Spotlight Organisation (BPSO), aims to equip nurses with evidence-based, culturally sensitive care techniques.
Permanent Secretary Daju Kachollom announced that Nigeria is the first African nation to partner with RNAO, emphasizing the importance of this collaboration in improving healthcare standards.
The four-day training will involve 15 Federal Tertiary Health Institutions across Nigeria, focusing on enhancing healthcare delivery and reducing medical tourism.
