He called on the people, corporate organizations and government at all levels to support the worthy cause of remembering the heroes of the country by wearing the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem with pride.

Governor Abiodun pointed out that celebration of the heroes past was not just an opportunity to say thank you in words, but also indeed.

“Our soldiers are our symbols, they are the symbols of our national unity and sovereignty. I implore all of us as individuals and corporate organizations, government at all levels to support this very worthy and commendable cause by not just donating generously but by ensuring that we all wear this emblem with pride, it is the least that we can do,” he noted.
