The Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has sacked a group, known as Willie Workforce, accused of extortion.
This was contained in a public service announcement issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Christian Madubuko, on behalf of Anambra State Government.
The announcement said that the organization masquerading as the Willie Workforce has been disbanded.
Mr. Madubuko pointed out that the activities of the group, which has been accused of exploiting innocent citizens, are considered Inimical to the State Government, as the Workforce is using the name of Anambra State Government and Ministry of Transport to exploit innocent people, therefore, has been
disbanded with immediate effect.
