A Catholic priest, Rev Fr Chinedu Nwadike and a seminarian, Emmanuel Nwafor, kidnapped on Friday have been released.
The priest who is the Deputy Registrar of Spiritan University, Nneochi, and the seminarian were kidnapped on the Enugu-Okigwe expressway on Friday.
Their abductors had placed N50m ransom as the condition for their release.
According to report, the men of God were released around the Nnochi-Ihube axis, the same area they were kidnapped on Friday.
The priest’s younger brother, Chikezie Nwadike, said that the family was grateful to God for the release of his elder brother and the seminarian.
